Very rare LP in many aspects! First US MONO pressing from 1961 on Columbia 3-Eye and a Promotional issue!
Stamped backcover and label with "Demonstration, not for sale"
Unknown pop songs today, very interesting to hear, sounds very different when you compare to her later soul albums!
Unlike the Atlantic LPs from the late 1960s, this is a hard to find, very collectable and sought after LP as it was a poor seller at its release time! Never was published outside of the United States! Soul history!
Absolute Rarität und TOP Sammlerstück für Soul-Fans! Debut LP von Aretha Franklin mit unbekannten Songs, die weit vor ihrer erfolgreichen Zeit bei Atlantic veröffentlicht wurde. Angeboten wird die Original US MONO Pressung von 1961 mit Columbia 3-eye label, kein Repro und keine Nachpressung! Extrem seltene PROMO Variante mit Aufdruck "Demonstration NOT FOR SALE" am Backcover sowie entsprechendem Sticker auf einer Labelseite!
Aretha Franklin war damals noch völlig unbelannt in der Musikwelt und dieses Debut hat daran auch nichts geändert; sehr geringe Verkaufszahlen, LP wurde damals nur in den USA veröffentlicht; Sehr guter Erhaltungszustand, auch im ebay in dieser Form nur äußerst schwer aufzutreiben!

Cover: VG+ very nice condition for over 50 years, frontcover has (ring)wear, otherwiese great shape, very clean backcover, no tape, no seam splits; sehr guter Gesamtzustand, Abnutzung am Frontcover, kein Tesa, kein seam-split!
LP/ record: Exellent close to near mint, only minimal scuffs and lightest scratches when seen under very bright light, exceptional shape for this kind of LP! hervorragender Gesamtzustand, minimale und vereinzelte Kratzer vorhanden, sehr wenig gespielt!
