This is a Decca Wideband Grooved original pressing SXL 2009.
This is the very first press with blue back and "original recording by" at 10 o'clock
Ataulfo Argenta conducts the Paris Conservatoire Orchestra performing Berlioz' Symphonie Fantastique.
This is rightly considered to be among the top performances of this magnificent piece.
This record comes from part of a well looked after collection.
Visually the vinyl grades VG++ because of some surface marks visible under light.
I would grade the audio as EX- on both sides. Lovely clear full sound with just a few pops and crackles in quiet passages.
The sleeve has very slight ringwear and minor laminate lift to front VG++.
The back sleeve is unmarked EX.
