ARICA: HEAVEN (JUST SUNSHINE JSS-11 – USA 1971) LP ****** Very rare and unknown free-form experimental psychedelic LP recorded by the Arica commune (taking the name from the city in Northern Chile where they begun studying with their guru) with an instrumentation bleding traditional jazz-rock and exotic (sitar, ethnic woodwinds, all sort of percussions) instrumentation. Recorded a midsummer night in NYC when one hundred members, musicians and dancers, gathered in a studio and played until dawn.
