Description
This is an overall fine original U.S. pressing copy of the rare sole LP by American psych group Armageddon, released in 1969. SoCal transplants from Texas, the group recorded their LP for the LA-based Amos label, which also put out records by the West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band, Evergreen Blueshoes (Skip Battin's pre-Byrds group), and the duo Longbranch/Pennywhistle, who were founding members of the Eagles. Two of the group's members were previously in obscure mid-'60s group the Kitchen Cinq. The jacket has three main flaws: a small cutout notch, two small tears near the top seam on the back cover, and a 1” slit in the cover slick near the spine on the front cover (see photos). It also has light ring, corner, spine, and seam wear; light scuffing on the front cover, and some discoloration on the back cover -- overall EX(-). The disc has several hairline scrapes and some scuffing and loss of glossiness, and plays with light surface noise and occasional crackling, but no pops (EX-).
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
