ARMANDO SCIASCIA - AFTER THE END (SUITE FOR STRING ORCHESTRA & SYNTHESIZER) on VEDETTE (VSM 38547) from 1971
Description: 1st original Italian library press on Vedette label out of Milan. A real masterpiece library composed and conducted by maestro Armando Sciascia aka The Blue Phantom. Very impressive concept album that fuse string elements with loads of electronic instrumentation. Results is impressive, macabre, dark, industrial atmosheres build by fuzz guitars riffs, obsessive synth patterns, sinister piano melody. This combination of strings and synthesizer represents an entirely new concept of recorded library music and Sciascia is one of the pioner. One of those rare Vedette LP, very very hard to find!
Conditions: Original picture sleeve cover unfortunately is G, with tape residue on the bottom down and a sticker the front right hand. Many tears on the spine, radio stamp/sticker on the back cover. Small sticker on label too. Record is VG at least, played several time so it shows many superficial marks. Sound still enjoyable. Not a collector copy, it’s a dj/producer/radio copy so bid accordingly. Sold as it!
