Armando Sciascia - Impressions in rhythm & sound

Italian pressing, Vedette VSM 38539 (1970)

Mr.Sciascia should have been slighly mad to be able to record this weird masterpiece. Psychedelic spatial mood music with loads of mad electronic FX, hippie Barbarella lounge atmospheres, heavy drums (Tullio involved), funky basslines, jazzy bits, hypnotic horns, treated keyboards and harpsichord, fuzz and so on... Includes the heavy CIRCUITO CHIUSO which sounds nothing but a more evil version of Blue Phantom's Diodo theme, the mad psychedelic jazz nuggets ECCENTRICO ST-3 and SIDERALE, the spooky "Vampires of Dartmoore" style CEROTICO, the weird lunar ballet waltz MACROSOMO, the other "Blue Phantom" inspired theme ACICLICO and so on... Listen!
