GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie vengono controllati sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i i 33 giri in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1. Per EP e singoli a 45 giri utilizzo un Thorens TD 166 BC con testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a turntable Rega Planar 3 with a moving magnet cartridge Grado Statement 1. I listen EPs and singles 45  rpm. on a turntable Thorens TD 166 BC with a MM cartridge Goldring 1006. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : musiche composte e dirette da Armando Trovaioli. I tre brani sono eseguiti dai Marc 4 e da Alessandroni al fischio, anche se non sono accreditati dalle note di copertina ed etichetta. Il tema d'apertura sul primo lato è caratterizzato da ritmica molto veloce sottolineata del magnifico fischio di Alessandroni, un ottimo drumming ed interventi di Hammond. Il secondo lato inizia con una suggestiva atmosfera lenta guidata dall'organo mentre la seconda ha un ritmo molto sostenuto e incalzante con Vannucchi scatenato all'organo Hammond ben supportato dalla sezione ritmica. 

Notes : music and orchestra Armando Trovaioli. The three tracks are performed by Marc 4 with Alessandroni on the whistle although they are uncredited on the liner notes of the cover and label. The opening theme in the first side is characterized by hectic pace underlined by the Alessandroni's superb whistling, an excellent drumming and Hammond presence. The second side begins with an evocative slow atmosphere led by organ whereas the second tune has a very lively and punchy development with an outstanding Vannucchi on Hammond well supported by the rhythm section.
