Description
Full-length LP from Art Bears titled "The World As It Is Today" released by Re Records (Re 6622) in 1981. Third and final album from Art Bears and their most experimental sound and their most scathing expression on the evils of capitalism. The music is fascinating and sinister as Fred Frith and Chris Cutler create the perfect backdrop for Dagmar Krause's dramatic vocals. Nothing joyful or melodically pleasing going on here but nonetheless a captivating listening experience. Comes with a cool little lyric booklet.

Labels are in NEAR MINT condition. Vinyl record is in NEAR MINT condition with new-like luster and has a mild warp that plays through with no affect. Plays with some very slight extraneous surface tics...sounds great! Cover is in EXCELLENT condition with light wear at corners and other minor shelfwear. Lyric booklet is in NEAR MINT condition.
