Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers. Blue Note BST 4003. Orig. US stereo pressing. 47 W. 63rd St., NYC on label; RVG stamp in dead wax on both sides; 61st St. address on back cover. LP is between G+ and VG-. It has many sleeve lines and light scratches, a couple can be felt, but playback is bright with good fidelity. Surface crackle and ticks are audible. Laminated cover is VG to VG+: the front is fine, the back has former owner's name and smudges. No splits or tears. This is a reasonably priced "player" copy of a rare Blue Note original. It is not for the scrupulously minded collector of perfect originals. But a great deal overall and priced to move. Domestic postage and packing is $4.00.
