Description
MOSAIC - Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers - BST 84090 Blue Note USA ***Original Stereo Pressing with Blue Note USA on Label and 43 West 61st. on Sleeve. RVG Stamped in dead wax and the "p" (EAR) The best pressings were made at the Plastylite factory where all of the original Blue Note LPs were pressed before Liberty took over.
Vinyl: VG++ Good playing record, shiny surface with only superficial marks, scuffs. Very clean with little surface noise. Another incredible recording by one of jazz's greatest bands recorded by the world's greatest recording engineer of acoustic jazz records, Rudy Van Gelder.
Jacket: VG+/VG Front cover is VG++ and the back cover is VG for the dirt and stains as well as two small areas where the cover artwork was torn away. One area is at the right side where there is a 9 inch strip about 3/4 in. wide and the bottom middle has a 3 in. tear. Previous owner's name stamped on top right corner.
