Description
Vintage jazz lp: ART BLAKEY & THE JAZZ MESSENGERS - A Night in Tunisia - Blue Note 4049 - original mono pressing, deep groove, 47 West 63rd St address on the labels, the tiny (R) below the E in NOTE on the labels, with RVG and the EAR in the runoffs, and different address on the back cover (43 West 61st St., New York 23) AND with "REVIEW COPY" stamped on one label (basically a PROMO); released in 1961.
Condition: VG/VG (vinyl has moderate scuffing and surface marks, only a couple of short ones that I can feel - plays VG+ with some minor background and occasional soft ticks; labels have minor rubbing; the jacket has some moisture damage - it only causes a light corner ripple to front cover, but the back cover has large light stain, spotting and a 2-inch scar at bottom margin, and several pieces of clear tape along the bottom of the pastedown).
