For auction is a promo copy of ART BLAKEY!!! JAZZ MESSENGERS!!! on Impulse A-7, Mono, 1961.
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. It sounded wonderful. Crisp, clean sound, with the only flaw being a few pops, not very loud, in a couple spots on side 2. I judged these flaws to be minor, i.e., they don't detract from the music or listenability of the record. I just want to be complete and transparent when describing all the salient aural details on this nice record!
Visually, the vinyl is about VG+, with only superficial scuffs here and there.
The sleeve is VG (probably better) with no flaws of note other than some writing in black marker and a split lower seam. The other edges and corners are solid. This is a demonstration-copy cover, completely different from the commercial issue. See photos.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
