ART BLAKEY “At The Jazz Corner Of The World, Vol. 2” FIRST PRESSING Blue Note 4055 Mono  Vinyl

This is the 1959, First Edition, MONO, “RVG” stamped, Laminated Cover, Deep Groove, P-pressing of ART BLAKEY and The Jazz Messenger’s “Meet You At The Jazz Corner Of The World, Vol. 2” on the "47 West 63rd” labels of Blue Note BLP 4055. Musicians include Art Blakey, Lee Morgan, Hank Mobley, Bobby Timmons, Jymie Merritt, Pee Wee Marquette.

VINYL plays very well, cleanly, with pops and ticks under the music. Ensemble sections are clear, dynamic and strong. No skips. Very Good gloss. A few hairline marks, none feelable. (If you can’t feel it, you won’t hear it). The Deep Groove “47 West 63rd” labels are clean. See photos.

LAMINATED COVER is in very nice shape. Sticker: “This Record Can Be Played on Stereo Phonographs” but this IS A MONO RECORD. Corners worn. Spine and lower seam clean and solid. Top seams show cracking and splits. Back jacket shows wear, stains, a couple small paper tears/cuts. Please see photos.
