The cover is VG+ with some wear mostly on the bottom seam but no splits, solid & firm with some wear and marks as seen in the pictures.
The vinyl is VG+ and sounds very nice, only very minor wear with nice gloss. There are some light, faint marks which are mostly superficial & it plays very well with some occasional faint background surface noise more notable near the beginning of the record & or in some the quiet areas such as between some of the tracks. The music overpowers most of it and none burdens the listening experience. There are no major scratches, marks, or damage to the vinyl that will affect play. There are occasional tics or pops but unobtrusive, not loud or persistent. In many respects much of it sounds excellent. This is a high fidelity recording, very strong & loud with bright crispy highs and very full sounding. This record is in above average condition and really sounds fantastic due in part to the fact it was recorded by Rudy Van Gelder and so well transferred & pressed by Plastylite & Blue Note. The record & cover are kept separately in a plain white sleeve & a protective outer plastic sleeve.
