  • DEADWAX SIDE 1: RVG (ear P) BN-LP-4055-A 
  • DEADWAX SIDE 2: RVG (ear P) BN-LP-4055-B
  • original mono pressing with: 
    - deep grooved blue/white Blue Note Records INC. labels with 47 West 63rd - NYC address with INC. and (R) under the E in Note 
    - RVG stamped and "P" (otherwise wrongly called "ear") for Plastylite etched in the trail off 
    - no address on back


VINYL:plays a nice to strong VG

side 1: plays a decent, easily listenable VG, a little staticky out of dead wax, light pops here & there,  there is a 1/5th of an 

inch, light  scratch that causes relatively light pops. And a speck of grit, I could not remove, causes 3 or 4 moderately

loud pops.

Side 2: plays VG+ has a number of very light pops but the music is being played so loud & comes through so clear that they 

are not terribly noticeable. Looks a borderline VG / VG+ I play graded side 2 a just passable VG+ or a very strong VG 

SLEEVE: VG+ black marks on one of the pix of an Lp cover on the back bottom (see last picture) & 1 black mark on the spine

over the word stereo which might actually have been done in the factory.

Inner Sleeve: in decent shape but it is a later Blue Note inner not the original.

Grading

NM   Near Mint. Record and cover appear virtually unmarked. Cover still in shrink.

VG++ A hair under near mint may have only a couple of insignificant surface only lines that should cause

only very minimal sound defects. Cover out of shrink otherwise close to perfect

VG+  Used but not abused. Some surface lines.  Will have some relatively slight audible imperfections.

 Some normal cover wear.

VG…  There will be visual imperfections and  some audible ones . May be a number of surface only lines or there

 might be a small scratch but not one that  repeats, Cover will be worn or have some kind of defect.

VG- .. Usually the lowest rating I will list an LP at. Same as VG but defects are more pronounced.  May have more  than 1 scratch but still not one that repeats. This record will still be enjoyable but there will almost definitely be  background sound.
