ART BLAKEY "Orgy In Rhythm” RVG, DG, P, LAM, Blue Note 1554 Mono Vinyl
This is the "RVG” etched, Laminated Cover, Deep Groove, P-pressing of Art Blakey’s “Orgy In Rhythm, Vol. 1” on the "New York” labels of Blue Note BLP 1554.
VINYL has good gloss, handful of feelable hairline marks, many non feelable. Plays with consistent light surface noise, pops and ticks. Blue Note power and dynamics to the fore--my opinion, not fact. No Skips. No locked grooves. No distortion. The Deep Groove "New York” labels are generally clean with spindle marks, some fading. See photos.
LAMINATED COVER is in good shape, corners worn. Seams clean, spine worn with worn spots. "BLUE NOTE RECORDS, 47 West 63rd St., New York 23" back jacket clean, RCW in marker. Some aging. Please see photos.
