ART BLAKEY “The Big Beat” RVG, P, DG, Blue Note BST 84029 Stereo Vinyl.
This is the “RVG STEREO” stamped, Laminated Cover, Deep Groove, P pressing of ART BLAKEY’s “The Big Beat” on the "47 West 63rd” labels of Blue Note BST 84029. Musicians include Art Blakey — drums, Lee Morgan — trumpet, flugelhorn, Wayne Shorter — tenor saxophone, Bobby Timmons — piano, Jymie Merritt — bass.
VINYL plays very well, cleanly, with occasional pops and ticks. Plays very well overall. No Skips. Very Good gloss. Surface in excellent condition. The Deep Groove “47 West 63rd” labels are clean with spindle wear. See photos.
Laminated COVER is in good shape, some peeling, corners worn. Lower right 1” corner very bent. Seams and spine largely clean. Back jacket shows wear, water damage. Please see photos.
This LP was play-tested on a high-end audio system. RECORD CLEANED ON ULTRASONIC CLEANER.
