Description
For your consideration is this nice condition, original Blue Note. pressing of "The Big Beat", by Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers.
This is the rarely available, original blue note stereo pressing... ST-84029, with 47 W. 63rd Ave. referenced on the label.
VINYL VG
Solid VG condition... previously enjoyed, and there certainly is noise between tracks and during the quieter sections. But, the brilliance of Art and his Messengers clearly comes through, and this disc sounds good. A few jumps during the first track, side 2, on my sensitive, unforgiving cartridge.
COVER VG/VG+
Top seam in very good condition; bottom seam shows much shelfware, but no splitting. Spine is split, about 4 inches. Overall, presents well.
Grading is via the Goldmine standard.
