Description
Up for auction is a rare MONO deep groove JAZZ LP by the legendary ART BLAKEY'S JAZZ MESSENGERS titled A NIGHT IN TUNISIA, on the RCA VICTOR Records label (LPM-2654). This LP was recorded in 1958, and it is guaranteed to be a FIRST PRESSING release, with A1 etched on the trail-off of the A side and A1 etched on the trail-off of the B side...please have a look at the last two photos in this listing. The trail-off also has N2 PP4987-1S stamped on the A side, and N2 PP4988-1S stamped on the B side.
This LP receives a sound grade of NM...sensational sound! The jacket receives a grade of NM- due to minor bumps on the corners, the labels receive grades of VG+ due to spindle marks near the spindle hole on both labels, and the vinyl receives a grade of NM.
Not much else to say about this treasure, except that it belongs in an important JAZZ vinyl records collection...period!
