Art Ensley And The Fabulous ECHOS Band    Open The Door To Your Heart/This Is The Best Way  Shiptown 202,036/7

Art Ensley was the only white artist to vocalise on the black owned Shiptown label. This release is from early 1969. Art slays Darrell Banks' Open The Door To Your Heart, hitting some high notes at the end that are astounding. ECHOS of greatness! Art went on to play organ for the Royal Kings. One of their 45s is featured in my auction listings today.
