"ART PEPPER MEETS THE RHYTHM SECTION" LP - On Contemporary Records, #C3532.  Extremely rare original 1957 MONO pressing with the classic Yellow & Black labels.  The label is Deep Groove on both sides.  Thick vinyl, thick glossy cardboard cover.  The personnel:  Art Pepper/alto sax; Red Garland/piano; Paul Chambers/bass; Philly Joe Jones/drums.  The thick cardboard cover is in superb shape and displays wonderfully.  Rarest version with red lettering on back.  Three faint owner signatures on back side.  There are NO seam splits, NO bends or creases, NO cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking.  The super glossy vinyl is in VG++/NM- condition with a few light marks.  The songs are:  Straight Life; You'd Be So Nice To Come Home To; Red Pepper Blues; Imagination; Waltz Me Blues; Star Eyes; Jazz Me Blues; Tin Tin Deo; Birks' Works.
