This one is the mono 1st pressing of Art Pepper's ART PEPPER + ELEVEN. Contemporary Records C-3568. Yellow Labels and Deep Groove on both labels. One of the best of Art Pepper. Performed by world-class 1st rated bob-era artists. This one is an original LP, released in 1960, not a re-issued version.
Artists Included: Art Pepper (alto saxophone), Pete Candoli (trumpet), Al Porcino (trumpet), Jack Sheldon (trumpet), Dick Nash (trombone), Bob Enevoldsen (valve trombone, tenor saxophone), Vincent DeRosa (french horn), Herb Geller (alto saxophone), Bud Shank (alto saxophone), Charlie Kennedy (alto saxophone), Bill Perkins (tenor saxophone), Richie Kamuca (tenor saxophone), Med Flory (baritone saxophone), Russ Freeman (piano), Joe Mondragon (bass), Mel Lewis (drums), and Marty Paich (arranger and conductor).
The vinyl looks and played NM on both sides.
The cover is also rated NM.
The record is play graded as well as visually. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. M (perfectly like new), NM, NM-/VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G, G-. You will be satisfied.
