Description

Hello and welcome. Beginning in the 1960s, I made it my goal to collect every 5-star record still available, and I continued my search for 40 years. While not all the records I list for sale reached that lofty goal, they do represent an undying search for the unique and wonderful in the world of sound. I'm happy to be able to offer them to you now. Here is what you're bidding on:  TITLE & ARTIST: "Art Pepper Meets the Rhythm Section" - by Art Pepper on the Contemporary Records label (C 3532) in original monaural sound released in 1957. CONDITION: JACKET -VG+(Jacket has light corner, edge and age wear; there is a price sticker on the back; but is otherwise unmarked and spectacular - please see actual album in photo); VINYL - VG+(The clear and bright vinyl has some light scuffs and other marks, but plays beautifully - Visually Graded under custom spotlight and Aurally Graded by old ears).  SPECIAL FEATURES: What a rare and remarkable album is this "Art Pepper Meets The Rhythm Section" - it includes extensive and informative back cover liners by Lester Koenig, along with photos of the entire group. This is a delightful, very rare and highly collectible album. TRACKS: You'd Be So Nice to Come Home To, Red Pepper Blues, Imagination, Waltz Me Blues, Straight Life, Jazz Me Blues, Tin Tin Deo, Star Eyes, and Birks' Works. Thanks! If you have further questions about condition or content, please don't hesitate to ask. You may bid with unworried confidence. Our sales history is your assurance of absolute integrity. Thank you and good luck. OUR GRADING SYSTEM: We grade visually, and we are happy to listen to any LP and give you an aural grade as well. SS (Still Sealed as from the factory); NM (Near Mint - our highest grade; the vinyl has only a very few light marks that do not affect play); VG++ (Very Good Plus Plus - a few more light marks than Near Mint; still a great record that plays near perfectly); VG+ (Very Good Plus - an enjoyable, played and loved, obviously used but still listenable record, usually with some light pops, but free of major audible distraction; jacket may be lightly worn, slightly dinged, even very lightly split, but NEVER trashed); VG (Very Good) and below - we usually do NOT sell these, but if we have some good reason to offer such a record, we will explain completely).
