Description
Art LP, quite rare to find. Spooky Tooth related.
Record no: Mono - ILP 967. Titled: Supernatural fairy Tales. Tracks: See photos. Date: 1967. Matrix nos: A & B.
The outer fully laminated sleeve is in VG condition, with some light ringwear to the edges, the edges have a few small laminate creases, there is a little laminate lifitng to the rear spine edge and this edge has some scuffing, there is a small and light name (Jim) written above the rear Island logo, the corners have some light wear/scuffing and there is a small tear to the front opening edge (see photos), this is still pretty clean.....................The solid vinyl is only in good condition, with signs of play, has a fair few surface marks and some surface scratches of which a couple can be felt (I have cleaned and played this, see below for detailed play grading) this still has a reasonable sheen, the Island record labels are quite clean and readable (light dirt mark to B side) with the centres showing some spindle wear, comes in a plain white polylined diecut inner which is fine.
Play grading: A side: Track 1: One skip at the beginning of the track, has some crackle in places, does not stick. Track 2: Plays great. Track 3: Plays great. Track 3: Plays great. Track 4: Plays great. Track 5: Light crackle to beginning of track and in the odd place during. Track 6: Plays great.
B side: Track 1: Plays great, minor crackle in a couple of places. Track 2: Plays great. Track 3: Has clicks to 1st half of track due to a scratch, everything still audible, does not stick. Track 4: Plays great. Track 5: Plays great. Track 6: Plays great, light crackle to very end of the track.
Overall a played and used example in a sleeve with some wear. I have tried to be as accurate as I can, as I know this LP is a sought after psych classic.
