Description
Arthur William "Big Boy" Crudup (August 24, 1905 – March 28, 1974)was an American Delta blues singer, songwriter and guitarist. He is best known, outside blues circles, for his songs "That's All Right" (1946), “My Baby Left Me" and "So Glad You're Mine", later recorded by Elvis Presley and other artists.
This is RCA 50-0013 ‘Shout Sister Shout’ bw ‘CRUDUP’s Vicksburg Blues’ 45 RPM on Orange/Cerise color vinyl.
The labels are in VG or better condition with a little more wear on the Vicksburg Blues side.
Visually I see no issues with the vinyl. No scratches that I can feel. I play tested on my 50s era RCA Phonograph and my 1952 Seeburg Library Unit and they sound great with no skips. There is some hiss and snap, crackle, pops that I tend to associate with the original recordings. I might be wrong. I’m grading the vinyl VG or better. This is a 70 year old 45 that was well cared for.
All that being said I feel I’m very conservative on grading. The grey labels with silver print and the orange/cerise vinyl are harder than normal to evaluate. (What the heck was RCA thinking) See photos and ask any questions. No refunds or returns.
