Arthur Lawrence Kornfeld (born September 9, 1942) is an American musician, record producer, and music executive. He is best known as the music promoter for the Woodstock Festival held in 1969. He is also known for his collaborations with Artie Kaplan.

Kornfeld began to master the guitar in 1956 and later began to act with Dion and the Belmonts and the Skyliners, as a backing vocalist. He continued his musical career while studying at Adelphi College and American University, where he met with Cass Elliot of the Mamas and the Papas. At the age of 20 years, he became the youngest vice president of Capitol Records. By 1966, Kornfeld were composed more than 75 songs got in Billboard, and also participated in the recording of more than 150 albums of artists such as Jan Berry, Jan & Dean, The Angels, The Shirelles, The Changin 'Times, Crispian St. Peters, The Cowsills, Johnny Crawford, Freddie Cannon, Cher, Jay & the Americans, Al Hirt, Connie Francis, Gene Pitney, Gary Lewis & the Playboys, The Tokens, The Hullabaloos, Oscar Benton & Artie Kaplan, Jerry Butler & Betty Everett , Bert Sommer, Dusty Springfield, Minnie Ripperton, Tony Orlando, Reparperata & The Delrons, Wayne Newton, Bobby Hebb, Woody Allen, The Bangles, Survivor and others.

In 1969 Kornfeld left Capitol Records and focused on the preparation of The Woodstock Music & Arts Festival with Mike Lang. Kornfeld and Michael Lang became best friends in 1968 and Lang eventually moved in with Artie and his wife Linda. Kornfeld, Lang, Joel Rosenman, and John P. Roberts through Woodstock Ventures made the 1969 music festival a possibility.

Kornfeld played a big role in helping save the Woodstock site from being built upon when the Max Yasgur farm was sold. Kornfeld was also responsible for putting the Academy Award-winning Warner Bros. documentary together. He appears in the movie frequently because backstage he was solely in charge of getting the performers to sign what were basically blank contracts prior to going on stage. He also hired director Michael Wadleigh to shoot the film.

We offer combined shipping on vinyl records: our shipping rates are listed above. HOWEVER shipping packages that weigh more than 2kg is VERY expensive. Therefore we can only offer combined shipping up to a maximum of SIX (6) LPs / 12" records. Any extra purchases will be invoiced, packaged and shipped separately.

***Due to the physical logistics of how I can package orders, I will not combine box sets with other items, I will only package them individually***

COMBINED POSTAGE FOR DIFFERENT FORMATS will be invoiced at my discretion:

While I am happy to combine (for example) one or two 7” singles into one package with 12” records, sometimes it isn’t practical (like if you want me to combine one 12” record with three or more 7” records). I do not think that these combinations can be packaged together safely and securely. Therefore these will be invoiced separately as two packages.
