Description
AWESOME! A doomy epitaph to the 60s, this unissued 1-sided beauty is chocker with distorted vocals & heavy orchestration, a remarkable production with an atmosphere not dissimilar to Focus 3's '10,000 Years Behind My Mind'. Guesswork here but I'd date this acetate around 1969-70, and the massive production suggests this was not a publisher's demo but a completed recording intended for release then shelved for some reason. The artist is uncredited but this only adds to the mystery & weird charm of this superb little disc, a veritable suicide note on vinyl if ever there was one. Overall condition is VG, plays great with a hint of crackle, no pops or sticks - plus the record sports a very clean Emidisc label, most unusual for an acetate of this vintage. Any questions, do write. Payment via Paypal within 5 days of auction end please. More pop/psych/freakbeat/garage items coming very soon.
