Description
I have up for auction a wonderful and complete Album Set of 3 records (78s) on the black and silver Asch International label. It is Set #621 by Mary Lou Williams, great jazz pianist, and entitled "Signs of the Zodiac"--all original pieces composed by Williams as well. Records include:
1. #4, "Libra" and "Scorpio".
2. #5, "Sagittarius" and "Capricornus".
3. #6, "Aquarius" and "Pisces".
The Set is another from new old stock, like new and even has the original Store packing slip dated June 19, 1946 and price marked as $3.00! The records are in excellent to E+ condition. No wear and scuffs and scratches are very few, light and surface variety. Surfaces still quite shiny and clean. Discs with slight cupping, but all uniformly so; harmless (no affect on play at all). Cover and inside sleeves in great condition as well; minor fraying at bottom edge.
