Description
I have up for auction a wonderful and complete Album Set of 3 records (78s) on the black and silver Asch Records label. It is Set #355 by Coleman Hawkins, Tenor Sax with Howard McGhee-Trumpet, Denzil Best-Drums, Eddie Robinson-Bass, Sir Charles Thomson-Piano, great jazz combo. Records include:
1. #3551, "Bean Stalking" and "Leave My Heart Alone".
2. #3552, "Night Ramble" and "Ladies' Lullaby".
3. #3553, "Sportsman's Hop" and "Ready For Love".
The Set is another from new old stock, almost like new. The records are in excellent to E+ condition, no wear and scuffs and scratches are very few, light and surface variety. Surfaces still quite shiny and clean. Cover and inside sleeves in very good condition as well, some discoloration on front cover-inside. Neat artwork on front (reminds me of David Stone Martin style).
