Armando Sciascia - Suspense

Italian pressing, Vedette VSM 38509 (Mid 60's)

Rare Italian library by Armando Sciascia on his own "Vedette" label and actually one of the earliest issue of the series. Music for some obscure spy movies by the Sciascia's Orchestra known to feature the Basso-Valdambrini group players as soloists.

Several spy jazz themes features the monster hard bop number "Jazz rag" (first track on the clip). Other tracks include a few nice moody jazz tracks with amazing trumpet and tenor sax solos. Listen!
