DESCRIPTION:

Original UK 1st Stereo Pressing Cream / Gold HMV Label of Rimsky-Korsakov: "Scheherazade" Performed By The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra Conducted By Sir Thomas Beecham With (Solo Violin: Steven Staryk) Cat No: ASD 251 - Please See Below For Full Condition Report and images of the actual record available in this sale.


Record condition: The W/G labels display superbly, the surfaces of the record retain a full luster under angled light, very light thumb scuff (Non audible) – Play tested both sides no repetitive clicks / pops or jumps = Excellent Plus (EX+)

Cover condition: The flip back cover displays well retaining its full colour to the front slick, corners and seams are all straight and true. The unlaminated back cover displays very nicely retaining much of it’s original whiteness. No stamps / writing, ring wear or other detractors = Excellent Plus (EX+)

Grading Guide:

"MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklets etc are in perfect condition.

Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

NEAR MINT: Very close to Mint with only the slightest signs of play and the very lightest paper chaffing only to the surfaces of the record. The cover shows only the very slightest wear

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Packaging:

Records within the inner sleeve will be removed from the cover and sandwiched between professional card stiffeners then inserted into a protective plastic sleeve. This package is then placed within a professional cruciform record mailer (N.B: We do not use cheap mailers)

Any record sold with a value in excess of £10 will be shipped with a minimum of a signature requirement upon delivery. Please note that Box sets due to weight may cost more than £4 to ship (In this instance the true cost of shipping will be added to your eBay purchase invoice). The actual cost of shipping is charged we do not profit in any way from shipping costs
