All records are cleaned & play-tested in entirety
HMV's white/gold rim label version. Overtures - Suppe Morning Noon & Night in Vienna; Heuberger Der Opernball; Johan Strauss Die Fledremaus; Lehar Gold & Silber; Reznicek Donna Dianna; Josef & Johan Strauss Spharenklange & 1st Radetzky March . Recording first published 1958. Visually the LP looks very good indeed if not excellent. There are some surface marks but no skips or jumps in playing or anything like that. Generally speaking, the louder sections are excellent and overall there is little crackling or static interference. However, that is not to say all the LP is perfect. Ocassionally there is some crackling/light clicks on both sides, especially during quieter sections. The starts of both sides are just a little suspect but even so, (I would suggest) nothing major. No claims to being mint but I can certainly appreciate why the LP is quite highly valued. I offer refunds without question if not satisfied. The inner is absolutely fine. The G&L sleeve would be excellent except for three biro marks on the rear cover - one with "9 mins" crossed out, another "9 mins" and a line under (after) "forty-three nights the manuscript of Die Fledermaus was ready". There is also a little (minor) ageing on the back cover. The front cover is definitely excellent.
