RECORD GRADING

VERY GOOD almost EXCELLENT

Both record surfaces have retained their shine and the labels show little evidence of play.

On Side 1 there are some short hairlines, not damaging scratches, and some sleeve rubbing marks but I heard no repetitive sounds from any of them. The side played very well indeed with only a little surface noise and only an occasional light pop. I do think it needs a clean to remove the dust, which I am sure was responsible for the random sounds I heard.

On Side 2 there are almost no surface marks, just some sleeve rubbings. This side, too, played very well indeed with, again, only a little light surface noise and occasional very light sounds. There is just one loud pop at about 11 minutes.

This is very nice record to listen to with excellent instrument definition and will almost certainly be graded excellent following a clean.

COVER GRADING

VERY GOOD

The cover is in very good condition and almost without damage. There is a little scuffing at the corners and a small cut, less than ½ inch long, by the top right corner of the face (beside the HMV Logo). The rear is a little age discoloured / soiled and there is a light stain in the centre of the text area but which does not affect its readability.

The EMI “Outstanding Artists” inner sleeve is undamaged, just a little discoloured and lightly creased.
