All records are cleaned and play-tested in entirety
As this is a valuable LP I will try to be as accurate as possible. Visually the LP is very good. There are some marks but on playing, I am confident they are only surface marks. I can see why this LP is highly valued as the overall quality of sound is quite something. The playing just about warrants an excellent rating. There is a noticeable absence of general static/background noise but there are altogether about 4 noticeable, brief moments of (light) crackling from playing both sides. The labels are both very clean and tidy. The spindle marks (difficult to see) suggest very light to moderate use. The matrices are 2YVH 7-6 // 2YVH 8-6. 1/0 & 12/0. The printed inner is excellent. The sleeve is just about excellent. It loses some points because of a slight fraying on the edge and "7 mins" & "10 mins" have (neatly) been written by the side of The Bartered Bride and Oberon. Do not worry about the light reflection from the flash in the photo. (The other tracks are The Merry Wives of Windsor, The Hebrides & Le Carnaval Romain - there is a misprint of romain on the label itself.) The spine is excellent. As always, a return/refund if not satisfied.
