Description
This original Stereo UK issue of Verdi's "Requiem Mass" conducted by Tullio Serafin are on the whole in excellent condition!!! You would be very hard pressed to find a better playable copy.
Matrix numbers:
1: 2YBA 25-3
2: 2YBA 26-3
3: 2YBA 27-3
4: 2YBA 28-5
The thick pressed vinyls are in great condition. There are one or two very light paper scuffs on record 1 but this easily grades as EX+ with little play. The 2nd record is NM. The labels are clean and free from any spindle marks suggesting little play. There are no scratches, deep scuffs or anything else that will impact on the sound.
They have the original EMI "emitex" inner sleeves which have yellowed a bit.
The sleeves are EX to EX+. They had been kept in plastic which was sellotaped on the inside of the sleeves. Both of these have small tears along the top near the "stereo" label. The only other issue is a small amount of tape glue on the back of one of the sleeves. Apart from this, and due to being kept in plastic there are no scuffs or discolouration to the rear.
