(HMV ASD 401 UK LP 1961)
This is a UK original Stereo LP pressing. It has a front laminated flipback sleeve which has a large "Stereo" on the front. It comes with its original polythene lined company "Emitex" inner sleeve.
The record has "white and gold" HMV labels. It has 1st press 2YEA 469-4 and 2YEA 470-4 matrix numbers. This is a very rare and excellent UK Stereo Classical LP. I have some other rare UK Stereo Classical LP's for sale.
Sleeve: There is some moderate rubbing wear to the bottom corner tip at the sleeve opening. This has caused a 3 cm seam split. There is also a 1 cm bit of moderate rubbing wear at the bottom seam at the spine area. There are a few light rub marks to the top edge too. There is some light ringwear and foxing to the rear. VG condition.
Vinyl: Light to very mild sleeve rubs can be viewed under a strong light. There is one small 2 cm hairline mark on one side. There is a quite long (11 cm), but very light, hairline mark on the other side. It arches across the track slightly. It is very light and hardly notices. VG+ condition. The labels are in excellent condition and show light spindle wear. Plays Near Excellent to Excellent overall. There is some light or very light crackle in a few of the quieter passages. There are a very few light clicks near the end of Side 2. Overall a very reasonable playing copy! The company inner sleeve is in Very Near EX condition. There is some very light wear and no seam splits.Please note that trackable insurance is included in the stated shipping price for non UK bidders.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
Postage for 1 LP in the UK is £4.50. You can add one extra LP for free (up to the weight of 1kg).
Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.65 to £7.85 (depending on weight). Add £1.25 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £7.75 to £11.50 (depending on weight). Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £20. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
