Please note: I  am selling off some of my own personal collection that I have collected over many years.

On offer is The Lp - Sibelius Symphony No.7 in C Major - The Oceanides, Sir Thomas Beecham Conducting The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

Stereo Pressing on the Hmv Records Label - ASD 468 circa late 1950's.

Vinyl -  Vg+ - The vinyl is in very good condition, The record retains a lovely sheen although with some light surface marks, and a few light hairlines, The Labels have no obvious wear, It plays Very Good throughout although with some small static tics and crackle heard in places which is quite normal on these older stereo pressings, also 6 or 7 consecutive light clicks were heard halfway through side 1 - no skips jumps etc. 

Sleeve - Vg+ -  Provided in the Original Sleeve as pictured which has some minor age related wear although nothing major considering it's 50+ years old as can be seen in the pics.

Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Please note: A mid range technics turntable was used to play test the Record - Playback Results may vary on Inferior or Superior quality playback equipment.

Record Collector's Grading System.

1. Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

2. Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

3. Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

4. Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc...

5. Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

6. Poor: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc.. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

7. Bad: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
