Description
ASD 470 DVORAK SYMPHONY 4 Constantin Silvestri WHITE GOLD 1st
Dvorak: Symphony No.4 / "Carnaval" Overture.
Constantin Silvestri and The London Philharmonic Orchestra.England pressed EMI HMV stereo LP, ASD 470.
Earliest white and gold label.
Vinyl visually in strong EX plus condition. Cannot detect much in the way of spider trail marks around the spindle areas. Even using a magnifying glass it is difficult to detect any marks on the playing surfaces.
Playback is slightly ticky however. This is never loud or overbearing and infrequent, on side two it is very infrequent. Otherwise the surfaces are bright and clean without distortion.
Inner sleeve is original and fairly clean and tidy except the poly lining has been neatly removed.
External sleeve around G. Main defect which drags the grade down is a tear which runs half the length of the rear sleeve adjacent to the bottom joint of the top backflap. Otherwise slight staining here and there and matt rear panel slightly grubby and with a couple of tan splash type stains. No really pronounced stains. Seams in good order, spine ok. Entry side has minor knocking but is not heavily feathered or worn.
