Rare Tortelier Cello ASD 549  LP cover, suits ED1 gold/cream label LP!!  Included LP is Australian !!

Maybe you have a UK pressed LP in need of a great cover, (THIS ONE ACTUALLY INCLUDES A 1st edition Gold and Cream label Australian pressed LP which is PLAY graded as NM-. 

Check all the photo's and see if your Cover could do with an upgrade.

If you think my Buy It Now price is ambitious, check your value guide for what a cover in this condition WITH a UK  LP is worth, I think you'll get my reasoning.............(you can use the cover for a British pressing)

LP that IS with this cover is 1st ed Gold and Cream Label but is issued in Australia  (OASD 549 )using the exact english stampers for their G/C ed 1

(  2YEA 731-3, 2YEA 732-3 stamper).  So If you need a great cover, but don't need the OZ lp, postage will be cheaper if we don't include the LP

I offer it to a collector or reseller who thinks they can benefit from this great example. (The Cover) Any re-sellers interested in obtaining some great rare SXL,  ASD, OR SAX covers, (as many australian records came with the full UK printed original cover), please contact me. NO , I am not suggesting sales off ebay, just an idea of enhancing the ones we all make already.

COVER is extremely straight and all photo's taken in full DAYLIGHT to reveal any floors that may be there.

NO yellowing, Ring wear  or  embossing of LP outline in rear cover

FRONT cover hardly shows any rubbing in laminate, only very minor rounding of corners, all flipback seams still original glue, no tears or creases, bottom seam flipback has 2 small 1cm dents in bottom edge (see photo)

Rarely ever seen in Australia as our LATER local pressings mostly had a different cover, although always with the same stamper numbers as the most sort after of all the  Uk pressings, albeit with any label thru to our local ED3  label.

Should the winner of this item want the OZ LP included in the package it will cost postage as displayed on the ebay search results and in the postage tab on this listing. If you want the NO LP option, the postage is typed further down in this description, (Go to the bottom  of listing for generic world zones)  Australian pressed LP as an OZ  G/C label with a few tics throughout, Looks and plays NM.

In my experience, and if it,s listening to the music you are interested in, the recording playback dynamics are just a little less than the equivalent UK pressing. Nevetheless, I would still sooner have a real clean OZ press than a slightly scuffed UK press.
