A rare 2 set on the hmv label of mahlers symphony no.9
A superb stereo set of vinyl albums
Both album are in excellent condition with very little sign of play
No signs of any surface marks suggesting they have been well cared for and hardly played
596 sleeve is very good with light edge wear and a good spine
597 has a worn spine unfortunately, the edges have light wear and both are clean front and back
I’ve taken the chance to play test all three sides on my technics sl q303 and found the audio quality to be superb throughout
There is some light noise present in some of the quieter parts that sound like dust or the odd bit of static but the whole piece was a delight to listen too, the richness of the opening passages of the first movement being particularly wonderful
