A few days ago I was offered, from a deceased estate, a classical vinyl collection. The owner was in her 90's and her husband, who'd died in the mid-1960's, had collected original first pressings of UK, German, and Australian releases from about 1952 - 1965 (none were dated later than that)...AND...he had kept them in pristine (or very near) condition. Some looked like they had NEVER been played. She had kept them stored away neatly and safely ever since then. All had been kept in soft plastic covers the entire time and appeared to never have been even touched since way back then.
