ASGARD "IN THE REALM OF ASGARD" LP 1972
I am selling my husband's collection. This is Asgard's only Album which was released on The Moody Blues Threshold Record Label. It is listed in the Rare Records Guide. It was released in 1972 and has since become a real collector's item for Psych/Prog Rock fans. The tracks are:- In the Realm of Asgard, Friends, Town Crier, Austin Osmanspare, Children of a New Born Age, Time, Lorraine and Starquest. This is an excellent copy which plays extremely well.
The sleeve is a non laminated gatefold in very good condition. The front and back of the sleeve is one long colourful picture. The brightness and shine of the design has not been diminished on this copy. On the front cover, there is a small mark by the title and the middle of the opposite edge is a bit dirty. The rear cover has a small crease in the bottom corner and a faint ring mark is visible in places. The corners and edges are scuffed in places. The spine has a small crease in the middle and the corner ends are a bit frayed but it is otherwise good and the writing is clear. The inside gatefold is made up of pictures of the Band and the lyrics and in excellent condition. The white background is slightly marked here and there.Overall the sleeve is in excellent condition.
The vinyl is contained in the original poly lined sleeve. This is in excellent condition.
Vinyl record itself is in excellent condition. Apart from the lightest of surface scratches on Side 2 it is hard to see any other marks. It maintains its original sheen. It plays great.EX
Threshold "firework" design Label is in great condition with no obvious marks or blemishes.
