Cult rare Heavy Pomp/Prog Rock from the U.S. These American Asia only recorded two albums, one in 1978 and this one which is a true masterpiece in 1980.
This album predates for a few years along with Legend's From the Fjords the Epic Prog Metal genre followed later by bands like Warlord and Dark Quarterer. Influenced by monsters like Uriah Heep, Styx, Rush and Black Sabbath, Asia cemented their name on all the want lists of the Prog/Pomp collectors as well as the traditional Metal ones. Acid Nightmare released a few years ago Alpha Centauri and Legend so you know what to expect.
