London CS 6013, DEBUSSY, Images Pour Orchestre, Ataulfo Argenta, L’Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, 2K/2E (original wide-band “pancake” label), FFSS blue back, pressing. This is NOT a reissue – it is the original 50+ year old, FFSS pressing. This copy looks and plays NM. It is one of the highly sought-after recordings of the late Ataulfo Argenta. The vinyl surfaces are clean, glossy, and very quiet with perhaps 1 or 2 barely noticeable tics on each side. There are no marks on either side. The labels are clean with possibly some very slight wear (?) around the spindle on side 2 (see photos). Vinyl grading is NM. The jacket is clean with no seam splits, but a tiny white scuff on the upper left back corner (see photo). Jacket grading is NM. The inner sleeve looks almost new except for some light yellowing at the edge from age - grading is NM-. In summary, this is an almost perfect copy of this wonderful music played by the highly regarded Spanish conductor, Ataulfo Argenta. Feel free to return for a full refund if not completely satisfied.
