London CS 6050, FALLA, El Sombero de Tres Picos (Three Cornered Hat) / Turina, Sinfonia Sevillana, Ataulfo Argenta, Orquesta Nacional de Espana, 1K/1K, blue back, FFSS pressing. This is NOT a reissue – it is the original 50+ year old, FFSS blue back pressing. This copy looks NM and plays almost perfectly. It is one of the highly regarded recordings of the late Ataulfo Argenta. The vinyl surfaces are clean, glossy, and very quiet with just one noticeable tic on each side. There are no marks at all on either side. I am grading the vinyl as EX+ only due to the two tics. Other than that, it looks and plays NM. The labels show little or no wear (see photos), and the jacket is clean with no marks, but a small seam split starting on the upper part of the spine (see photo), so I will grade it as EX. The inner sleeve has no creases and looks new. In summary, this is an almost perfect copy of this wonderful Spanish music played by the highly regarded Spanish conductor, Ataulfo Argenta.
