Description
I will declare a lower amount on the customs form for all countries so as to avoid/decrease high import charges. This first pressing plays with superb audio and barely any intrusion. In fact you could argue there is no actual 'intrusion'. S1 has four minor static ticks at the start but hardly get in the way! A handful of other minor statics elsewhere but overall the clarity, depth, definition and power of the audio is stunning. No intrusive ticks, clicks or pops anywhere. This vinyl has only been lightly played in my opinion and indeed has only very minimal spindle wear.
The E.J. Day cover is in excellent condition with only light wear and it has held its original shape and structure perfectly. The original inner is in superb condition.

Visual description
The vinyl is in lovely condition and still has a fine glossy sheen with no obvious marks or scratches. Under a bright light I can make out one very small faint scuff at the start of S1 but it's certainly not easy to find! Aside from that I can only find a small number of ultra faint hairlines, it really is in superb condition. There is no groove or surface wear and the run outs grooves are very clean also. The Pegasus labels are near perfect with only a couple of spindle traces on S1 and just one on S2.
Play Grading
The intro on 'Breakthrough' has four light static ticks at the start but is otherwise close to perfect with one other very quiet static. French's opening vocal section has no background and it continues in the same precise way. Crane's piano work is of course very much in evidence here and each note is perfect with zero background. The quieter section towards the end plays with sublime clarity and the final vocal has no intrusion either - the long fade out is just as clean with not even a single dust tick. The intro is Ex and from then on the audio is Mint- at the very least.
The quiet build up / intro on 'Break The Ice' plays so clearly with only a couple of minor statics and Cann's first guitar plays perfectly as does the opening vocal section. This album may not be as heavy as the previous one and that is probably due to Cann having less influence on the writing. However, the audio quality is still so impressive and the instrumentals in particular are stunning. It's a strong and dynamic version and Mint- is a fair assessment of the audio. Just one minor static on the fade out.
The piano intro on 'Decision / Indecision' is practically 'as new' with just one light static and first vocal is indeed perfect. As Hammond comes in the audio is faultless and it continues to play with exceptional quality. The mid instrumental a case in point, superb! The next vocal has no intrusion and the remainder is more or less the same with only one minor tick. I'll say Near Mint but so close to Mint-
'A Spoonful Of Bromide...' ends S1 with superb audio from start to finish. The clarity of sound here is outstanding, each note so clean and precise, I cannot stress enough just how strong the audio is here. There is no inner groove distortion and put simply it could not play any better. Even the brief silent moment right at the end has no background. Mint

Another quiet intro on 'Black Snake' and again the clarity cannot be faulted. This time Crane takes the lead vocal and the opening vocal section is flawless with no background. The mid instrumental is of the same standard - it's a quiet number and yet from start to finish there is no intrusion including the long fade out. Sonically it could not be any stronger, great work from Cann here. Another Mint track.
Good to see them doing what they do best on 'Head In The Sky'. It's a stronger, more dynamic track and very much a Cann number. Every vocal and instrumental play with supreme power and depth and that mid instrumental is STUNNING! This is the definitive version in my opinion and easily grades as Mint
The intro on 'The Rock' is so close to perfect with only a couple of super quiet statics and from then on this instrumental plays with sublime precision. Mint- all the way. Even the fade out is perfect.
'The Price' has 3/4 very quiet statics on the intro and that is literally the only background across the entire track. The power, depth and clarity for a final track is superb and there is no inner groove distortion. French's vocal suits this track perfectly and especially at the end, Gillan'esque you could say! It's a great track - the intro is Near Mint and Mint from then onwards.
The Gatefold & Inner Sleeve
The cover is in excellent condition with only minimal shelf wear. The edges have very little rubbing and the wide spine just has one small rub at the end of Rooster and very minor wear on the bottom corner. The other corners are very clean and the opening edge has barely any handling wear. The front cover just has one very small faint mark next to the spine and a tiny crease top left and the back cover is similar with minimal faint marking in one small section by the spine and light spotting / ringwear near the top edge. The inside of the gatefold is in lovely condition with no marking. A very strong example overall.
The original plain white die-cut inner is in superb order with no side splits or tears, no marking and only minimal creasing.

Postage & Packaging
I will only send items items worldwide via tracked shipping. This provides 'peace of mind' in case of loss or damage. The shipping costs are shown below and combined shipping is always offered. Any over-payment will always be refunded.
The Royal Mail only insure up to a value of £250 so if an item sells for more it may be wise to use a courier service (e.g. Parcelforce or DPD). An extra insurance premium will be required but I will not know the exact amount until the final sale price is known. Because of this I will sometimes have to estimate the cost and this will be shown in the listing. All vinyls are packaged in strong over-sized custom made mailers with plenty of extra cardboard protection. They are placed inside separate poly-lined inners outside the cover so as to avoid seam splits in transit and then placed inside a PVC sleeve to provide even more protection. I pride myself on my high quality packaging as my feed confirms and if any customer has any specific requirements I am more than happy to help.
The mailers I use cost £1.00 each and I will use anything between 3-5 cardboard stiffeners which cost approx £0.18 each. There is also the cost of the poly-lined inner and PVC sleeve to consider, it all adds up! Not forgetting that eBay take 10% of the shipping fee also!!
