ATOMIC ROOSTER - SELF TITLED. +A/+B MATRIX Year:1970 Cat: CAS 1010
- On offer here is a fine sounding rare original earliest pressed copy of this prog monster! The flute passages were augmented with guitar on later presses.
- The single cardboard sleeve is flat and fairly clean with some wear to the edges and spine where the surface has rubbed off. There are also a couple areas at top right and one on the back where the surface has peeled away but this does not detract too much. No writing or tears at all. Sleeve Graded VG-
- The original Patents paper inner has some creases but no rips or tears, graded VG
- Under strong light the thick vinyl has great gloss with only a few light marks and storage wisps visible. Visually Graded EX- The textured labels are in excellent condition with only a few spindle trails. When played the stylus does rise slightly for a second on the outer tracks probably due to years of storage - but in no way can it be considered warped. It tracked fine on my Linn Basik IV with no problems at all. The audio is superb throughout with any slight surface noise confined to the leadins. Playgraded EX .

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc
