NB Description of condition of Record Cover has been amended since listing started, sorry. I found something which wasn't spotted originally.
Hi and welcome!
I am selling my complete collection of 500+ Vinyl LP Records, as I haven't played vinyl much for some years, since purchasing a better digital playback system.
Every record that I sell will have been cleaned on a Moth Mk. 2 record cleaning machine, using 'The One' cleaning fluid, which is then vacuumed off by the machine (they often don't look as though they need a clean but sometimes there are impurities left behind in the pressing process, so I feel it's always worth doing).
I have listened to each record, prior to listing it, and will grade it according to The Record Collectors Grading System (please see towards end of this listing for full details of the Grading System) .
I will also do my best to give an accurate and honest description of it's condition. Hopefully, this will lead to little or no disappointments for the buyer and myself.
Records will be despatched with the vinyl in an archival quality anti-static, anti-dust/dirt, anti-scratch inner sleeve, the album cover inside a polythene outer sleeve, all inside a double walled cardboard mailer.
Here for sale is a first pressing of David Bowie - The Man Who Sold The World, UK 1990 reissue on EMI.

The vinyl and labels are visually excellent. The vinyl sounds and plays excellent, it really is a fantastic sounding release, the only defect being presumably a light scratch, resulting in 8 consecutive low level clicks on side 1, track 1.
The Gatefold cover is in excellent condition, having only minor wear to the front top edge. There is a release sticker on the front cover 'Contains Rare and Previously Unreleased Material'. Edit - I have also just seen something I didn't previously spot, a small area (roughly 25mm x 8mm) on the rear cover which is dulled - it looks as though someone has used a black marker to presumably cover a blemish. It CAN be seen on photograph 2 if you look carefully.
My grading for this sale is therefore EX to EX+ for the Vinyl and EX- for the cover. I have received new vinyl which hasn't been of this standard and am confident that the buyer will be very happy with their purchase.

Record Collectors Grading System
Mint (M)
The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent (EX)
The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good (VG)
The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable.
Good (G)
The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair (F)
The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
Poor (P)
The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
Bad (B)
The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
