Description
AUDIENCE: Their First album 'Audience' issued in 1969 by Polydor 583065 1st Pressing A-B//1 Jazz Rock, I understand that it was since withdrawn. I first saw Audience at the Gypsy Hill Teachers Training College, Kingston upon Thames, long gone. A night to remember.

The vinyl has a couple of scuffs and a couple of light surface scratches,(please see photos) but plays exceptionally well throughout, no noticeable depreciation to the music and hardly any background noise, except for the first 15 seconds on THE A-side. In terms of condition rating - I am no expert, the record has been cleaned with wet wipes and was played on a 1990's Technics turntable using a new Technics P24 stylus. The overall vinyl condition I would say is very good plus, based on the above and that the vinyl looks clean with slight surface marking and couple of light scratches but plays close to excellent. The centre is clean with virtually no spindle marks (see photos). The record plays very well throughout with a great depth of sound. An excellent recording. The sleeve is Matt finished and shows virtually no wear and I would grade its overall condition as excellent.
I have tried to grade using the Record Collectors Grading, as below: Excellent (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
