LP-Title: Kenny G - Live

This is the original US-pressing from 1989 on ARISTA, AL-8613. Two record set in beautiful gatefold-cover is still in it's orginal shrink, there's a ticket-sticker on the front, it contains the original PVC Arista inner-sleeves. 6 tracks have been recorded live at the Opera House, Seattle,WA in August 1989; 3 tracks were recorded live at Humphrey’s, San Diego, CA in September 1989. Two tracks are studio recordings.

Line-up: Kenny G/saxes – J.Raymond/guitar – R.Damper/keys – V.Johnson/bass – B.Carter/drums – Paulinho da Costa/percussion a.o. Michael Bolton is guest vocalist on “Don’t Make Me Wait...”

Considered by high-end aficionados both to be one of the best-sounding live-recordings ever and as well to be one of the finest LPs in the whole pop-jazz category. Awesome sonics and dynamics,as natural and direct/immediate as a live-recording can sound !

Condition: the record looks mint- to mint-- and plays in mint- all the time. The gatefold-cover has never been unfolded, it is still in it's orginal shrink ! Under the sealing there's a nice front & back, all seams/spine are intact, minimal rub on 2 corners, overall mint--. The ticket-sticker is intact & unpeeled, the 2 OIS are in mint-.

Grading & Cleaning:

• the record has been cleaned on my professional HANNL record cleaning machine

• after that I playgraded it (completely or at least in parts) on my Rega Planar 9, Moving Coil cartridge by EINSTEIN:TU-3 Super Fine Line ( please consider that the playback might differ a bit depending on your own equipment )

• I also visually graded the record under a strong light

• only an unplayed record is mint, the highest grading for a used record is mint- ! My basic gradings are: mint – ex – vg.

• cleaned records are stored in a new deluxe innersleeve and they are placed in a new PVC protection-sleeve !
